How much does running coaching cost?

Three ways in: a one-off Self-Guided plan from £59, Guided coaching at £49/mo, or Full Coaching at £79/mo where I'm in your corner week to week. Every option runs on the same private platform, so what you're paying for is how much of me is in it, not a fancier app. Not sure which fits? The free call sorts that out.

Do I need a running coach?

"Need" is probably the wrong word, but most runners who get one wish they'd done it sooner. On your own it's easy to drift: too hard, too easy, too much, then injured, never quite sure you're doing the right thing. A coach takes that off your plate, reading your training, shaping it around your real life, and keeping you honest when motivation dips. If you've got a goal you actually care about, it's the difference between hoping you'll get there and knowing you're on track.

Does online running coaching actually work?

It's how most of the runners I coach train, anywhere in the world. Your plan lives on your platform, your runs sync in, I read them and adjust, and we talk it through. I also coach in person here in Kent if you'd rather. The training doesn't care whether I'm stood next to you. Your consistency is what moves the needle.

I'm a beginner or not very fast, is coaching for me?

Especially for you. I coach first-timers eyeing their first 5K right through to club runners chasing a PB, and it's the same care either way. You don't need to "get fit before you start." That's the whole point of a coach: we start exactly where you are.

How is this different from a running app like Runna or Strava?

An app hands you a plan and a lot of charts, then leaves you to interpret them. I write your plan for you, then watch how it's going and change it when life (or your body) says so. An app doesn't notice three bad nights' sleep or a niggle in your calf. I do.

What if I get injured or life gets busy?

We adjust. No guilt, no broken streaks. Lose a week to work or a cold? The plan flexes around it. Carrying a niggle? We back off before it becomes an injury, rather than after. Training that ignores real life doesn't last.

How do we get started?

Book a free 20-minute call. No cost, no hard sell, just an honest chat about where you are and where you want to get to. If we're a good fit, I'll build your plan from there. If we're not, I'll tell you.

Still got a question? That's what the call is for.
